GRIEF & LIFE TRANSITIONS

Therapy for Grief & Life Transitions in California

Grief isn't only about death, though of course it can be. It can also be the loss of a relationship, a version of yourself, a future you'd planned on, a pregnancy, a career, an identity.

Some of the hardest grief is the kind that doesn't have a name — the kind you're not sure you're allowed to feel as much as you do.

Life transitions carry their own complexity. Even the ones you chose — moving, a new job, becoming a parent, leaving a relationship — can bring disorientation, grief, and a sense of not quite knowing who you are in this new chapter.

Therapy offers a place to sit with all of it, without rushing to the other side.

I work with people navigating..

I work with people navigating grief, loss, and the emotional complexity of significant life changes. Together, we may focus on:

  • Grief and loss of all kinds, including losses that aren’t always recognized or named

  • Major transitions, such as divorce, career changes, moves, and shifting relationships

  • Identity disruption and the feeling of not knowing who you are after a significant change

  • Pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, and TFMR

  • Grief related to your own illness or the illness of someone you love

  • The loneliness and disorientation of entering a life chapter that feels unfamiliar

You don’t have to rush to the other side.
