TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS
Virtual Therapy for Teens & Young Adults in California
The teen and young adult years can be relentless. You're figuring out who you are, what you want, and where you belong — often while managing school, family expectations, social pressure, and an inner critic that rarely quiets down.
A lot of the teens and young adults I work with are holding more than people around them realize. They're anxious, overwhelmed, and exhausted — and often don't have a space where they can actually say that.
That's what therapy can be.
I work with teens (13+) and young adults navigating:
I work with teens ages 13 and older and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and the pressure to have everything figured out.
Things like depression, low motivation, and feeling disconnected from things that once mattered; questions about identity, including culture, sexuality, gender, and belonging; relationships with family, friends, and romantic partners; transitions between high school, college, early adulthood, and whatever comes next; as well as grief, loss, and difficult life changes.
HOW I WORK WITH TEENS & YOUNG ADULTS
I work with teens (13+) and young adults using an approach that is collaborative, developmentally informed, and genuinely responsive to what each person brings in.
For younger clients, therapy is most effective when they feel the space is truly theirs — confidential, non-judgmental, and free from agenda. I work to build that trust early and maintain it throughout.
I welcome parental involvement at the start of treatment to discuss goals and context, and maintain ongoing collaboration with parents in a way that respects the teen's privacy and supports the therapeutic relationship. All communication with parents is handled with the teen's awareness and consent.
For young adults, I offer a space to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and develop a clearer sense of themselves — without being told what to feel or what to do about it.
